It's not where you go in life, It's who you have beside you that matters

You know this statement is so true! you could live in a little grass shack and all would be well if love filled that shack. Their is nothing more powerful than love, NOTHING. It is something we all need and want it is our being, our whole self that needs to feel love and be loved. When you love and respect someone for the person they are that is all that is asked of you, nothing more.

Live the Golden Rule: Which is treat others as you want to be treated.

In the bible it is in their as one of the beatitudes.

Lets face it most of us come from disfunctional families, what does that mean? well if you do not feel loved by your parents then that's pretty much it in a nut shell. Maybe they had a drinking and or drug problem, depressed, Never really showed they cared about anything, and the list gos on the problem came down on you, as you thinking it was YOU, not them. You were not ever really able to just be the kid you should have been and experienced what being a child was like without having to always be in a fear mode, or wondering why your parents did not show a great deal of love toward you. After years of trying to figure it all out, the only thing that really does matter in this life is that you learn to love yourself and do not expect someone else to do it for you or be that somebody. It has to be you. Know that you are part of God and God does not make mistakes, and mishaps. He& she loves you totally without no limitations, doesn't ask for nothing in return. Be the shining star you always wanted to be. Do not let anyone else tell you what you should become be what you want to be and express. I have counseled many on this subject and its a place we ALL tend to be weak in. Respect yourself, except yourself , we are all beautiful and do not let anyone tell you different even a parent. Most of the time it was because they were not shown love from their parents that is why they have a hard time showing you love. Forgive them and show them love, and you will have made a great change and deliverance for them to stop the cycle in the family generation that never experienced love.......

Blessings to you all. Laurie
