What has Laurie been up to?

As most of you are aware, I love to write. Yes, still writing and focusing on my book. I am also much into natural health, and women's issues. I must say I have lots of knowledge in lots of areas of life as I have explored many avenues while finding my real self. I have been offering free 30 minutes of spiritual mentoring with already many people and everyone has wanted to continue with me. What a JOY it has been for me to find another gift that I have, and am so happy to help others on their spiritual journey also. By the year 2012 everyone has their own idea as far as what will happen or take place in this very special year. Ive been told that will be a year of more light coming to earth to awaken souls and move them along on their spiritual path even faster than ever. The veils between heaven and earth will be much thinner then ever before so awakening to Gods light will be so very well knowen for so many, connecting to Angels and the light of the God source will be much easier, and will not take years to get things done, like lessons etc. I have come to help many adjust to this new energy coming to fill us with such light. We have to adjust slowly to this, as many of us have already started to do. Lately a time of feeling of frustration for lots of people, we are getting things off our chests etc. Letting go of people in our lives who are very negative with not much effort at all, we just seem to know to let go. This is because we are adjusting to the light and energys. I will talk about this in more upcoming writings in my blog. I have so much to share with all of you. I hope you will be checking in weekly. When a women lies

One day, when a seamstress was sewing while sitting close to a river, her thimble fell into the river. When she cried out, the Lord appeared and asked, "My dear child, why are you crying?" The seamstress replied that her thimble had fallen into the water and that she needed it to help her husband in making a living for their family.The Lord dipped His hand into the water and pulled up a golden thimble set with sapphires.

"Is this your thimble?" the Lord asked.The seamstress replied, "No." The Lord again dipped into the river. He held out a golden thimble studded with rubies.

"Is this your thimble?" the Lord asked. Again, the seamstress replied, "No." The Lord reached down again and came up with a leather thimble.

"Is this your thimble?" the Lord asked. The seamstress replied, "Yes." The Lord was pleased with the woman's honesty and gave her all three thimbles to keep, and the seamstress went home happy.
Some years later, the seamstress was walking with her husband along the riverbank, and her husband fell into the river and disappeared under the water. When she cried out, the Lord again appeared and asked her, "Why are you crying?'' "Oh Lord, my husband has fallen into the river!"The Lord went down into the water and came up with George Clooney. "Is this your husband? The Lord asked.

"Yes," cried the seamstress.The Lord was furious. "You lied! That is an untruth!" The seamstress replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a misunderstanding. You see, if I had said "no" to George Clooney, you would have come up with Brad Pitt.

Then if I said "no" to him, you would have come up with my husband. Had I then said "yes," you would have given me all three. Lord, I'm not in the best of health and would not be able to take care of all three husbands, so THAT'S why I said "yes" to George Clooney. And so the Lord let her keep him. The moral of this story is: Whenever a woman lies, it's for a good and honorable reason, and in the best interest of others.

That's our story, and we're sticking to it.

I Claim My Magnificence!

Today I am ready to claim my magnificence! I know that I have a unique place on the planet and a unique contribution to make. I am in the process of becoming the masterpiece I was meant to be. In that process, I am willing to lovingly embrace ALL parts of myself. My masterpiece is already in consciousness, and now the brushstrokes of my life are filling it in. I feel vibrant, alive, enthusiastic, loving, and joyous! My joy is contagious. I support myself in my magnificent blossoming and I support others as well. I know that I am responsible for creating my life in the way I desire, and others are responsible for theirs.

My birthright is to enjoy harmonious relationships, unlimited prosperity, vibrant health, work that I love, and an abundance of happiness. I lovingly notice any limiting thoughts that are not in alignment with my birthright and gently weed them from my inner garden. I forgive the past, allow the present, and trust the future.

Say this affirmation daily and watch your life change in many wonderful ways, Blessings.......

How do I discover my purpose in order to change my life

I think we have asked these questions to ourselves many times through out our life time. Especially as we age. We realize their must be more to all of this meaning life, our life. If we have not displayed our gifts to the world we will ask ourselves these questions over and over, which brings use closer to finding, identifying what are gifts are. We have all come into this life time to learn lessons, to live the Golden Rule, to share and teach what we have learned in past life times or to just simply make or tweet even better a gift that we have had in another life time, as is the case with myself. Life is so much about working out things we need to accomplish also to move on to the next stage. Sit quietly and ask yourself these questions one by one with notebook and pen in hand see what comes to mind. Ask your wonderful Angels, and guides to help you hear the answers to these questions, they will be so happy you asked because they are here for that purpose to help you fulfill your lives work in this life time and to clear up any left issues from other previous life times. Listen, and wait and see what comes to mind, write it down no matter how foolish, funny or out of this world it may seem. Ask the Angels did I hear this right and they will give you a yes or no that you will hear distinctly. We must become who we have come to become in this life time. It is the most important. We all are so very important. Being a mom is so very important, a loving mom. It may be just as easy as that, as being a loving mother who really loves tremendously, and teaches her children to love. That is such a special gift to give to children and others, because they will carry this love to their children, and it will continue to ripple down the line.Expessilly mothers of children with disabilities. These children picked you before entering the womb. You both made a agreement before hand with each other. It was to help the other with a lesson. They would not have picked you if you were not strong enough to handle this life time with them. Become who you are, find the light within that is waiting to be ignited, where is that dream hidden, where is the joy to be felt cornered? Ask for it all and it shall be given for those who truly believe in yourself that you are here for something bigger then you ever thought possible. Be the best you can be with what you love to do, Even if its being a mother, You are more special that you can ever imagine. You are wanted, you are needed, and you are loved ever more than you could ever imagine, so raise your head high as you walk, and think of how much you are loved for all you give, and do. You are your child’s gift. Remember there is more, there are many gifts we have where are thy hiding? Go inside, bring them out, the world is waiting for you to share them.

The Gift

As the Holistic makeover is coming to a end, lots of friends and family have asked what did you learn, and do, what did you get out of this progress. I never realized the impact until I was done with my coach, and toward the end of this great experience, and this progress of searching. Searching for my self would be my greatest gift of all. I really expected so much more I thought as my last session was a day away. All these questions were coming up from deep inside, questions I have asked many times over. I still felt a sense of emptiness. I felt like a failure of some sort, how could this be so hard, and why does it have to be hard. With all this help and still I feel the way I do. The next day after my closing with my coach their was a break through of my own. Ive realized the truth of who I really was and where I was going. This was the work I was to do for so many years and now it was just a matter of owning up to it. Yes, "THE GIFT " the God given gift to work with the elderly and mentally challenged all these 26 years of my life. It all made sense now all I had to do was except this gift from God and finally I was ready to do just that. A joy came over me like I can not explain, I started to write everywhere in my home, at work, the bathroom, I kept getting insight about receiving your God given gifts. I always wanted something to write about well, I sure had more than enough now! I have noticed a shift in every way I look at everything inside of myself and outside. I have a bright future ahead of me now, from me finally excepting my gift things are coming to me, I do not have to do anything but ask for them now. This is the world to live in. I feel finally complete. I have now started writing my book ( a dream Ive had for years) the writing comes so easy on a subject that you truly experienced, went through, and learned by, and most of all want to share with so many. I want to help others see their gift in life that they may have not noticed as a gift. We all come with many gifts in this life time, but their is one that fits right with your soul , and comes easily. Don't cover it up, make excuses not to use it, and most of all see it, see it so clearly that their is nothing you need to do but offer it to the world and let it do the rest. I already have the name for my book, yes, you guessed it "THE GIFT"

The interview with God

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

“If you have the time” I said.

God smiled. “My time is eternity.” “What questions do you have in mind for me?”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

God answered... “That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”

“That they lose their health to make money... and then lose their money to restore their health.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”

"That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived.”

God’s hand took mine and we were silent for a while.

And then I asked... “As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”

“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.”

“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.”

“To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”

“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.”

“To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply have not yet learned how to express or show their feelings.”

“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.”

“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly. "Is there anything else you would like your children to know?

God smiled and said, “Just know that I am here... always.”

Simplicity made simple...

One of my wonderful coaches, worked with me on enjoying the moments of each day. Keep it simple was a great task for me. It all seemed to easy, Just keep it simple and nothing else I thought to myself. Could it really be just that easy. But that was to easy I thought, not much work involved with this lesson. This was one of the most important lessons I have ever learned up to this date of my life. Through living my life more simply each day, I have seen, and felt things I have never before experienced. I was living in the moment a place that not many people experience. Not only did I stop looking way into the future a place that I found myself at many times a day, a future that may never come, to enjoying what was in front of me, right here this very moment. If we do not have this moment here and now what do we really have? Not the past and not the future. So why do we drift off to these places so often? the place of the past and of the future. I had experienced things I had never noticed before by being in the present. The stillness, the connection to my soul, spirit, and body's, needs and wants. A sense of releasement, no burdens, no ties. The beauty around me got finally noticed, through the richness of the smells, colors, the calmness of my body knowing it was OK to feel relaxed, with no pressures of the future once more nagging at me, what are you going to be? what will you become? your getting older, theirs not much time to waste. And so the song goes on and on in my mind, like a merry- go- round, or so it used to. Its an amazing thing as you slow your mind down and live in the moment, in the stillness all that you need to know and are, are right their in front of you, it just seems to come up to the surface, no more fighting for the answers they just come in the stillness without even trying how much more easier can that be! There was no pushing or pulling or fighting for them they just come because you are in a state that allows all things to become possible, and very easy, There really is no future , and theirs no future in the past. There is really only the present, and that is why it is called THE PRESENT . Why don't you try to live more simply, and you will experience a world that you never knew exists, it will all come to you instead of you chasing for it, think of all the energy that is wasted. All of us work way to hard for things we want or need the universe will bring them to us by living in each moment of everyday, and that's called Simplicity made simple!
